Developmental Country Brain Drains: How Can It Be Converted into Knowledge Gain?
Abstract
Often called the "brain drain" phenomena, the worldwide movement of healthcare professionals is driven by the desire for better living conditions, better job opportunities, access to cutting-edge technology, and more politically stable settings.The growing concern originates from the effects on the healthcare systems of underdeveloped countries as well as the global ramifications of healthcare experts moving abroad in quest of better chances, both locally and internationally.What elements influence really gifted people to choose to move abroad? What particular effects have these migrations on the field of education?What strategies are possible to promote migration from less developed to more industrialized nations? The aim of this paper is to analyze and address issues, highlight significant difficulties, and offer solutions so that immigrant health professionals may successfully use their knowledge, skills, and creative thinking to further the economic development of their own countries.
